11 Aligner Models in 9 Minutes

The Form 4B can produce up to 11 aligner models in a single print job. Many biocompatible dental applications can be manufactured in less than an hour.

Precision with a 50 µm pixel size

Highly collimated light, a 50 µm pixel size, and pre-tuned anti-aliasing produce fine details, smooth surfaces, and an accurate reproduction of the digital design.

Build Volume

200 × 125 × 210 mm

The 5.25-liter build volume can accommodate up to 11 dental models, enabling the efficient production of multiple parts in a single print job.

*The 9-minute print time is based on 11 aligner models printed with Fast Model Resin at a layer height of 160 µm.

Open Material Mode

In addition to Formlabs dental materials, Open Material Mode allows you to use compatible resins from third-party manufacturers. This keeps the system open to a wide range of materials and applications.

Wide Range of Applications

The Form 4B is suitable for producing aligner models, surgical guides, occlusal splints, restorative models, full dentures, All-on-X restorations, custom impression trays, and temporary and permanent restorations.

Validated Dental Workflows

Preset print parameters for numerous dental materials simplify preparation and ensure repeatable results in everyday use.

Automatic Material Feed

During printing, resin is automatically supplied from the cartridge. No-mess cartridges and easily replaceable tanks reduce manual intervention.

Digital Integration

PreForm integrates seamlessly into existing scanning and CAD workflows. The Formlabs Dashboard provides centralised monitoring of print jobs, material consumption, and printer status.

Formlabs Form Wash

Clean results in just a few steps.  The Formlabs Form Wash automates the cleaning of SLA-printed parts and integrates seamlessly into the Formlabs workflow. Printed dental parts can be cleaned directly on the build platform or, once removed, in the wash basket. Powerful solvent agitation removes liquid resin residue, even from fine structures and hard-to-reach areas. At the end of the wash cycle, the device automatically lifts the parts out of the solvent so that they can dry. This ensures repeatable results and reduces the manual work required for post-processing..

Formlabs Form Wash

Fully Automatic Cleaning

Set the wash time and start the cycle. The Form Wash then completes the cleaning process automatically. Once the cycle is finished, the parts are automatically lifted out of the solvent and can begin drying immediately.

Standard wash cycle in 10 minutes

With fresh isopropyl alcohol, the standard wash cycle takes approximately 10 minutes. This means printed parts are quickly ready for post-curing.

Three Times Stronger Solvent Circulation

A magnetically coupled impeller circulates the solvent powerfully around the printed parts. The current model circulates the solvent three times more effectively than its predecessor, removing resin residue even from small cavities and recesses.

Up to 120 prints per fill

The solvent volume can be adjusted from 7 to 15 liters to suit the size and number of parts. Under normal operating conditions, a single IPA fill can clean up to 120 prints.

Cleaning on the build platform

Printed parts can remain on the build platform during cleaning. Alternatively, they can be removed and placed individually in the supplied wash basket.

Adjustable Build Platform Mount

The adaptable mount can be adjusted in both height and width. This makes the Form Wash compatible with various Formlabs build platforms.

Adjustable Solvent Volume

Less solvent can be used for smaller parts and print jobs. This allows the washing fluid to be used efficiently and economically according to your requirements.

Maximum print part size

200 × 145 × 195 mm

The wash area can accommodate printed parts and build platforms from Formlabs compact SLA printers.

Formlabs Form Cure

Controlled post-curing in just a few minutes.  The Formlabs Form Cure completes the post-processing of printed dental parts using a precise combination of heat and 405 nm light. This enables the resins to achieve their intended mechanical properties and a fully cured surface. Validated programmes for more than 45 Formlabs materials ensure repeatable results with minimal user intervention. Standard resins can be post-cured in as little as 60 seconds, while engineering and biocompatible materials require between 3 and 15 minutes, depending on the application.
Formlabs Form Cure

Post-curing in as little as 60 seconds

Standard resins can be post-cured in as little as 60 seconds. Material-specific cycles ranging from 3 to 15 minutes are available for engineering and biocompatible materials.

48 multidirectional LEDs

Forty-eight powerful LEDs emitting 405 nm light illuminate dental parts from different angles. Combined with the rotating turntable, they ensure uniform post-curing across the entire surface.

Temperatures of up to 100 °C

The convection heating system reaches temperatures of up to 100 °C. The 230 V version heats to 60 °C in approximately 150 seconds, enabling the post-curing process to begin quickly.

Spacious post-curing chamber

Turntable: Ø 235 mm
Maximum dental part height: 245 mm

The spacious chamber can accommodate a complete Form 4B build or several dental parts in a single post-curing cycle.

Over 45 validated programs

Preset time and temperature profiles for more than 45 Formlabs materials ensure correct post-curing. Simply select the material, start the programme, and allow the process to run automatically.

Defined material properties

Depending on the resin, post-curing improves mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, and resistance to heat and creep. It also makes the surface harder and less tacky.

Essential for Biocompatible Materials

Correct post-curing is a mandatory part of the validated workflow for biocompatible dental materials. Formlabs programmes developed specifically for each material ensure repeatable processing in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

Uniform Distribution of Light and Heat

Forty-eight LEDs, a light intensity of 14.5 mW/cm², a convection heating system, and the rotating turntable ensure controlled curing from every angle.

Compact design

Dimensions: 337 × 404 × 372 mm
Weight: 12.1 kg

Despite its spacious chamber, the Form Cure remains compact and integrates easily into existing dental practices and laboratories.
