The 3Shape X1 offers a new scanning experience without the need for head immobilization, delivering exceptional image quality with a low radiation dose while making workflows simpler and more efficient. Its patented head-tracking technology compensates for patient movement, enabling the acquisition of precise CBCT, panoramic, facial, and cephalometric images. The 3Shape X1 captures all images in standard DICOM format, allowing seamless export to other software solutions. It also integrates seamlessly into digital workflows across the 3Shape CAD/CAM ecosystem.

Motion Compensation Technology
3Shape’s motion compensation technology minimizes blur and motion artifacts, delivering exceptionally clear and precise images. The technology uses head tracking to measure patient movement during the scan. Powerful reconstruction software then compensates for this movement, resulting in clear and precise CBCT, panoramic, and 3D facial images.
Motion artifacts are particularly common in children and older patients. They can reduce image quality and potentially limit diagnostic and treatment options. Motion compensation helps ensure high-quality images even when patient movement occurs.
